“I want to watch Snoopy!”
I want to watch Snoopy is a reading game for kids. The player learns to read letters of the alphabet, two and three letter phonetics, as well as common two and three letter words.

I created this game for my son. When we are at restaurants he says, “I want to watch Snoopy!”. And often I will give him my phone to watch Snoopy.
So I created this game to incentivise learning to read. “I want to watch Snoopy!” is now followed by, “Sure, play this reading game to unlock him.”

The game was created with Google AI Studio, Gemini Pro Preview 3. It was prompted to hard code a list of letters, two-letter phonetics, and two and three letter common words.
The game also employs an Anki style memorisation technique where if you get one wrong, it’ll repeat it later.
There are settings on the start page to adjust how many rounds, and what type of things are shown. If all left to default, the game begins with simple single-letter rounds to establish a sense of progress.

The game ends revealing a picture of Snoopy with the intention that I then manually switch to Apple TV to watch Snoopy.
But you could easily prompt it to change to reveal a YouTube video or any link.
