Typing Fun! is a free game teaching children how to type on a physical keyboard.

How to play

• 1. A letter will appear in the big box.
• 2. Press the matching key on your keyboard.
• 3. Collect all the emojis to win the round!

The child is awarded a matching emoji related to the letter. For example, queen (👸🏼) for Q, or zap (⚡️) for Z. It won’t necessarily be the name for the emoji.

Why did you make this game?

I made this game to introduce my son to typing. The game is an exercise in finding the letters on the keyboard. Plus, it can be a game for learning the phonetic alphabet too. It is a simple game that requires one action – finding and pressing the correct key.

Parents are recommended to cover unnecessary parts of the keyboard to help the child. Only letters are needed, not function keys, numbers, or other keys on the side of the keyboard. You can do this with a teacloth.
